Introduction to After Effects

What is After Effects?
  • A powerful animation tool called Adobe After Effects is frequently used to produce 2.5D animations, visual effects, and compositing for films, television programmes, and online videos. It offers a wide variety of effects to edit photographs and is typically used during the post-production stage. Users of After Effects can combine video and image layers in appealing ways to produce visual sceneries.

  • An original technique for adding movement to animations is provided by Adobe After Effects. It uses motion graphics animation, which manipulates rasterized and vector imagery to present a story. Additionally, this software enables users to add tangible media to their works, such pictures and movies, broadening the scope for creativity.

Pre-Composting in Adobe Photoshop

To transform still images (graphic elements and photography) into moving images.

  • Composting layers can be done in Photoshop , Arranging and renaming the layers accordingly so that it'll be organized and makes it easier to animate in after effects

  • Adobe After Effects is used for compositing, motion graphics, and digital visual effects. It enables users to import a variety of resources into their projects, including photographs, movies, and vectors. These layer elements must be properly organised and synchronised with external platforms like Photoshop and Illustrator by the software. Notably, After Effects files establish connections to the external media files rather than directly embedding the material.
