Lectures

Week 6 :

• In this week Mr.Fauzi taught us on how to use the 3D tools and how to trace an image, we were given an exercise on making a rainbow and make it into 3D.

Week 7 :

• We had a briefing about MyTiger project By Ms.Anis, we were instructed to make a Poster based on the SDG goals that also added with the MyTiger core values.

Visual Research

In this assignment we are assigned to create a poster based on the 12 SDG goals that are designed to be "a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all" that are intended to be achieved by 2050.

The topic that i have chosen for the SDG is Climate action , the reason i take this topic is because I feel like climate change is very crucial right now and we are actually going through it right now , however alot of people are actually ignoring and are unaware that our planet is going to go through a danger sooner or later if we keep ignoring our planet's climate.

The challenges that we will be facing are : 

1. We are instructed to  work only with the details in the competition brief
2. We have to include a logline to set up the mood.

Idea Exploration and Description

1. Half and Half design

I intend to create the design to show the earth is half destroyed and half nourished, to show the viewer that if we didnt take an action our earth will be dying just like the example on the left side, meanwhile if we take an action the earth will be habitable by humans and all creatures to live.

2. Actions and Consquences

On the drawing i want to potray and point out the things that happens if we didnt take action to help heal the earth, and i also point out the things on what we can do to help improve the earth condition

Title : Impact of Climate Change

Description : 

• As time passes, our planet has experienced significant climate changes, resulting in numerous disasters and negative transformations. Through my artwork, I aim to convey the urgent need for action before it becomes irreversible. The presence of a tiger gracefully roaming amidst lush green grass symbolizes the potential for living organisms to thrive in a healthier environment, in contrast to a scorched and lifeless landscape. This depiction represents the values of teamwork and growth embodied by the Maybank TIGER Core Values. By collectively taking climate action, we can transform our world into a more favorable habitat for both humanity and all living beings inhabiting this planet

Reflection

• Honestly i am really struggling with this assignment because i am still not used to using adobe illustrator, cause im always used to using CSP and Medibang, the brush are much more different and alot of the features are different, so i was really stressing out on how to make my illustration better, at that point i was also running out of time because i was doing another assignment too, so the result was really rushed, i wish i could add more changes into it but it was too late. at least i did what i could do.
