Week 8 : PROJECT 2: POSTER DESIGN
POSTER DESIGN
In this assignment we are assigned to make a poster for MyTiger Values Art Competition 2023. We are told to do some research about the 12 SDG goals and Maybank's MyTiger Values. I did my research and pick the Climate action as my main topic because its a very serious topic, and not alot of people seem to be really acknowledging how serious this problem could be.
I used the same Concept as the one i did in IVN, so the sketches and the moodboard are pretty much the same. Here is the Moodboard :

After collecting the moodboard i start with the sketch which is the result i did for IVN as a sketch or a reference for this Assignment.

I start with making the composition and what to put in the posters.

After being satisfied with the composition i started blending and adding the stuff to make it more natural and better.

After the second progression i felt like the top part is missing something so i also added the birds, to act as if its mirrored yet the other side is completely destroyed and the other side is flourishing and beautiful.
Lastly i added the words, Save Earth using collage fonts, and then i do some color adjustments on the poster to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Impact of Climate Change
- As time passes, our planet has experienced significant climate changes, resulting in numerous disasters and negative transformations. Through my artwork, I aim to convey the urgent need for action before it becomes irreversible. The presence of a tiger gracefully roaming amidst lush green grass symbolizes the potential for living organisms to thrive in a healthier environment, in contrast to a scorched and lifeless landscape. This depiction represents the values of teamwork and growth embodied by the Maybank TIGER Core Values. By collectively taking climate action, we can transform our world into a more favorable habitat for both humanity and all living beings inhabiting this planet
Reflection
- This assignment is pretty rushed due to me focusing on IVN Tiger, so i barely have time doing it, not to mention i got Covid so i couldnt really go all out when i was doing this assignment, however its still a fun assignment to do, even though it was rushed and pretty messy.
